Marea aduce la tārm
din intunecatele adîncuri,
strālucind vii în luminā, 
nenumārate comori.
Nisipul de lîngā mare
încā mai poartā urmele pasilor Tāi, Doamne.
Vine un val si le acoperā,
cu spumā fragilā, trecātoare. 
Cuvîntul Tāu,
ca vuietul mārii,
rāspunde în inima mea... (Ignatie Grecu).

The sea brings to the shore
from the dark depths
shining alive in the light,
countless treasures.
The sand by the sea
it still bears the traces of Your footsteps, Lord.
A wave comes and covers them,
with fragile, fleeting foam.

like the roar of the sea,
