WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

 Where are you from? In what part of the world were you raised? One of the first things we ask a stranger is, "Where are you from"?  Knowing where someone is from, tells us a lot about him or her - why he/she has an accent, what kind of climate he/she is used to,  which sports teams  he/she might like the most. 

"Immediately, coming up from the water, John saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Jesus like a dove. Then a voice came from heaven, "You are My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased" (Mark 1:10)

The Son of God is from heaven and there is so much we can know about Him because we know where He's from. He comes from the place reserved for the King of kings. He has been there with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit from the very beginning. Heaven is God's home and the place He created for those who know Him. To live in heaven is a honor - a gift to those who accept Jesus here on earth. In heaven, the Lord is continually being praised by the angels. There is no sickness or sadness there. We know that Jesus is royal, perfect, and worthy of our praise because He has come from the perfect place of heaven. He has walked among us, but He is not from around here. His righteousness and holiness give Him away. He is from heaven.
