A Treia zi de Paste.

"Incontestabil mare este misterul creștinismului.
Hristos S-a arătat în trup,
justificat în spirit,
văzut de îngeri,
vestit neamurilor,
a fost crezut în toată lumea, s-a
înălțat în slavă” (1 Timotei 3:16)
Aceasta face parte dintr-un imn liturgic folosit în comunitățile creștine din Efes și din jurul lui, în anul 65 d.Hr.
Este format din trei cuplete în echilibru tipic ebraic:
- duh-carne (contrast),
- văzut-proclamat (complementar),
- lume-glorie (contrast).
Natura creștinismului este profundă: se concentrează în Hristos, apărând în trup omenesc, îndreptățit de Duhul Sfânt;
taina persoanei sale a fost descoperită îngerilor, anunțată neamurilor și primită de ei cu credință.
El însuși a fost ridicat (prin învierea și înălțarea sa) la slava divină.
Hristos a înviat!

The 3-rd day of Easter
"Undeniably great is the mistery of Christianity.
Christ was manifested in the flesh,
vindicated in the spirit,
seen by angels,
proclaimed to the Gentiles,
believed in throughout the world,
taken up in glory" (1 Timothy 3:16)

This is part of a liturgical hymn used among the Christian communities in and around Ephesus, A.D 65.
It consists of three couplets in typical Hebrew balance:
- flesh-spirit (contrast),
- seen-proclaimed (complementary),
- world-glory (contrast).
The nature of Christianity is profound: it centers in Christ, appearing in human flesh, vindicated by the Holy Spirit;
the mistery of his person was revealed to the angels, announced to the Gentiles, and accepted by them in faith.
He himself was taken up ( through his resurrection and ascension) to the divine glory.
