Duminică, 17 noiembrie. Fericire fără Dumnezeu?
Combustibilul greșit!
Nebunul Bogat (Luca 12:16) și-a spus: „Suflete, acum, ai atâtea bunătăți strînse pentru mulți ani, odihnește-te, mănâncă, bea, veselește-te!”.
Povestea lungă și teribilă a omului care încearcă să găsească altceva decât Dumnezeu care să-l facă fericit...
„Dumnezeu ne-a făcut: ne-a inventat așa cum un om inventează un motor.
O mașină făcută să funcționeze pe benzină nu ar funcționa corect cu nimic altceva.
Dumnezeu a proiectat mașina umană să funcționeze prin El .
El Însuși este combustibilul pentru care spiritele noastre au fost concepute să ardă sau hrana cu care spiritele noastre au fost concepute să se hrănească.
Nu există altul.
De aceea, nu este bine să-i cerem lui Dumnezeu să ne facă fericiți în felul nostru, fără religie. Dumnezeu nu ne poate da o fericire și o pace în afară de Sine, pentru că nu există așa ceva.” (C.S.Lewis)
