Sf. Doctor Pantelimon. Despre sinucidere.

Pantelimon Doctorul, +27 iulie 305. Despre sinucidere.
Consult medical.
A venit doctorul : tensiune bunā, circulație proastā.
St. Pantelimon the Doctor, +27 July 305. About suicide.
Medical consult.
The doctor came: blood pressure good, circulation bad.
- More movement is needed!
- I'm moving through ideas enough, Doctor...
"Although I am sick and helpless, I am not sorry that I exist.
I try to feel sorry, but it doesn't make sense.
Do you know why? Because I find, obviously, that I exist.
What seizes me in the pessimism of self-denial is the evidence of my existence.
The man who commits suicide has not realized that he is a man. He failed to intuit its existence. To live by himself.
I cannot commit suicide - regardless of my condition, health or illness - because I did not do it myself.
I did not come to this world by my own will. And I wouldn't even leave it willingly.
This is the fundamental game of my existence" (Petre Tutea, 322 memorable words).
Saint Pantelimon of Nicomedia had been educated as a physician, and he devoted all his talent to serving the poor.
He dedicated his life to the suffering, the sick, the unfortunate and the needy.
He treated all those who turned to him without charge, healing them in the name of Jesus Christ.
