7 Ian. Sf.Ioan Botezātorul. 

 

 

Logosul întrupat și misiunea divină a lui Ioan Botezătorul.
Probabil un imn hristologic timpuriu despre Iisus și Ioan Botezătorul.
Partea centrală (Ioan 1:1-5) are o structură poetică, cu fraze scurte legate în „paralelismul scării”, în care ultimul cuvânt al unei fraze devine primul cuvânt al următoarei.
Proza (Ioan 1:6-8) tratează despre Ioan Botezătorul:
„La început a fost Cuvântul ,
și Cuvântul era la Dumnezeu
și Dumnezeu era Cuvîntul.
El a fost la început cu Dumnezeu.
Toate lucrurile s-au făcut prin El,
și fără El nimic nu a apărut.
Viața era în El,
iar această viață era lumina rasei umane.
Lumina strălucește în întuneric,
iar întunericul nu a cuprins-o”.
Un om pe nume Ioan a fost trimis de la Dumnezeu.
El a venit pentru mărturie, pentru a mărturisi despre lumină, pentru ca toți să creadă prin El.
El nu era lumina, ci a venit să mărturisească despre lumină.
Adevărata lumină, care luminează pe toată lumea, avea să vină în lume.
"La multi ani cu sānātate!" celor ce poartā numele Botezātorului!

The Incarnate Logos and the divine mission of John the Baptist.
Probably an early Christological Hymn about Jesus and John the Baptist.
Its core (John 1:1-5) is poetic in structure, with short phrases linked by 'staircase paralellelism', in which the last word of one phrase becomes the first word of the next.
Prose inserts (John 1:6-8) deal with John the Baptist:
"In the beginning was the World,
and the Word was with God, and the Word  was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things came to be through Him,
and without Him nothing came to be.
What came to be through Him was life,
and this life was the light of the human race.
The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has not overcome it".
A man named John was sent from God .
He came for testimony, to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him.
He was not the light, but came to testify to the light.
The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world.
