God invasion into human history, Jesus Christ.
Although there are many indications of God in nature, unless He reveales himself, we are doomed to confusion.
Some believe God to be a Celestial Killjoy, peering over the balcony of heaven, looking for anyone who is enjoying life, and shouting down, "Cut it out!".
Others think God as a sentimental grandfather of the sky, rocking benignly and stroking his beard and saying, "Boys will be boys", so everythig will work out in the end, no matter what you have done.
Others think of him as a big ball of fire and of us as little sparks who will eventually gravitate back to the big ball. Einstain thinks God as an impersonal force or mind.
To the deist, God created the world and yet never intrudes on it. He wound up the clock, and now he is letting it run down.
To the theist, however, God is the Creator and Ruler. God has a mind, emotions, conscience and will himself - a complete personality. These ingredients were given to us when He created us, and they include a moral law. For human beings the moral image is not optional software. God is intensely interested in right conduct : in fair play, unselfishness, courage, good faith, honesty and truthfulness.
