26th of Dec.,Joseph, the adoptive father of the Son of Man.
Tomie de Paola in 1978 told an ancient legend - "The Clown of God".
A juggler is offering the gift of his talent in front of a statue of Lady with the child Jesus.
"And finally, cried Giovanni, " the Sun in the Heavens".
The gold ball flew up and around and around, higher and higher, faster and faster.
"For You, sweet Child, for You!".
And a miracle occurs : The Child was smiling, and in His hands He held the golden ball.
I believe that the legend has something to do with Joseph, the adoptive father of the Son of Man.
He was a righteous man, a carpenter.
He assumed with humility and gratitude the honor to look after the chosen woman and the Child Jesus.
How was Joseph playing with Jesus and what toys offered Him?...
