Botezul si Ispitirea
Botezul Domnului nostru Iisus Hristos este momentul în care sunt pomeniți toți membrii Treimii - Tatăl, Fiul și Duhul Sfânt.
În cuvintele tradiționale ale Bisericii, unicul Dumnezeu există în trei persoane, dar o singură substanță, coetern și coegal.
Nici o explicație nu poate descrie în mod adecvat puterea și complexitatea relației unice.

Ispita în deșert.
Iisus nu a trebuit decât să dea un semn de acord și ar fi putut construi Creștinătatea,
nu pe patru Evanghelii zdruncinate și un om învins bătut în cuie pe o cruce,
ci pe baza unei planificări și a unor principii socio-economice solide.
Ce binefăcător ar fi fost, deci, Iisus.
Autoritățile romane au împărțit pâine gratuită pentru a promova regatul lui Cezar,
iar Iisus ar fi putut face același lucru pentru a promova Creștinismul .
În schimb, El a refuzat oferta Satanei pe motiv că numai Dumnezeu trebuie adorat...
 

The Baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ is the moment when all the members of the Trinity are mentioned - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
In the traditional words of the Church, the one God exists in three persons but one substance, coeternal and coequal. No amount of explanation can adequately portray the power and intricacy of the unique relationship.

The Temptation in the desert.
Jesus had but to give a nod of agreement and He could have constructed Christendom,
not on four shaky Gospels and a defeated man nailed on a Cross,
but on a basis of sound socio-economic planning and principles.
What a benefactor, then, Jesus would have been.
The Roman authorities distributed free bread to promote Caesar's kingdom,
and Jesus could do the same to promote his.
Instead, He turned the offer down on the ground that only God should be worshipped...
