Manu Dei - Mîna lui Dumnezeu

Petru -mare

Duminică 25 august : Manu Dei - mâna lui Dumnezeu.

„Puțin credinciosule!...” (Matei 14:31).
Este înfricoșător să te simți nesigur cu privire la credința ta.
Pot să cred cu adevărat în Biblie? Sunt cu adevărat mântuit?
Mântuirea este adevărată? Mă păcălesc când spun că eu cred?
Îndoiala este înfricoșătoare.
Dar această istorie biblică ajută. Petru a crezut în Iisus destul de mult încât să coboare din barcă și să meargă pe apă.
Dar odată afară, chiar și Petru a început să se îndoiască. Și să se scufunde!
Ceea ce este important este că Iisus l-a prins „imediat”.
Petru se îndoia, dar Iisus era acolo oricum.
Îndoielile nu îl alungă pe Iisus, El este acolo chiar și atunci când vin îndoielile.
Și ești mult prea important pentru ca El să te lase să te scufunzi...

„Suntem Templul lui Dumnezeu!” (1 Corinteni 3:16).
Suntem bogați, suntem săraci,
suntem tineri, suntem bătrâni, suntem femei, suntem bărbați,
suntem invalizi, suntem bolnavi, suntem sănătoși,
diferite rase și culturi.
Doamne, umple-ne cu duhul Tău de unitate.
Elimină forțele distructive ale urii: prejudecăți, rasism, abuz fizic și verbal.
Umple-ne cu spiritul Tău iubitor și cu aprecierea pentru valorile fiecărei vieți. Amin

 

Manu  Dei - God's hand.

"You of little faith!.." (Matthew 14:31).
It is scary to feel uncertain about your faith.
Can I really believe in Bible? Am I truly saved?
Is salvation for real? Am I fooling myself when I say I believe?
Doubt is scary.
But this Bible story helps. Peter believed in Jesus enough to get out of the boat and walk on water.
But once out there, even Peter began to doubt. And to sink!
What's important is that Jesus 'immediately' caught him.
Peter doubted, but Jesus was there anyway.
Doubts don't drive Jesus away, He's there even when the doubts come.
And you are much too  important for Jesus to let you sink...

"We are God's Temple!" (1 Corinthians 3:16).
We are rich, we are poor,
we are young, we are old, we are female, we are male,
we are disabled, we are sick, we are healthy,
we are all races and cultures.
God, fill us with Your spirit of unity.
Abolish the distructive forces of hate:
prejudice, racism, physical and verbal abuse.
Fill us with Your loving spirit and appreciation for the values of each and every life. Amen
