Sf. Fecioarā Maria, Stella Maris, (Steaua Mārii), în Vinerea Luminatā.
The Virgin Mary, Stella Maris, (the Star of the Sea), on Lighted Friday after Easter.
The central miracle of Christianity is the Incarnation, when God became Man from the Virgin Mary.
The Virgin Mary gave birth to the Healer of our sicknes, Jesus Christ, and is called the Fountain of Healing herself.
Healing is not always physical.
I have experienced healing in relationship that I thought were irrevocably broken.
I have been healed from wounds in my heart and mind that kept me separate from the love of God.
And I have personally experienced the healing power of prayer to the St. Virgin Mary.
Healing happens and prayer works - and if we have eyes to see, we will see miracles all around us.
In the twelfth century, St. Bernard of Clairvaux wrote:
"If the winds of temptation arise; if you are driven upon the rocks of tribulation,
look to the star, call on Mary.
If you are tossed upon the waves of pride, of ambition, of envy, of rivalry,
look to the star, call on Mary.
Should anger, or avarice, or fleshly desire violently assail the frail vessel of your soul,
look at the star, call upon Mary.
