Medical Saints : St. Doctor Panteleimon

St. Panteleimon had been educated as a physician, and soon he devoted all his talent toserving the poor.
He dedicated his life to the suffering, the sick, the unfortunate and the needy.
He treated all those who turned to him without charge, healing them in the name of Jesus Christ.
He visited those held captive in prison. These were usually Christians, and he healed them of their wounds.
He died for his faith in Jesus on 27 July 303.

So many medical saints have been over the passage of time:
- the ancient patron saint of physicians, the Archangel Raphael, mentioned in The Book Tobit in the Bible;
