Sā-i tulbure în inimā credinta
ce-i izgoní cu harul neputinta.

Si cum umbla prin templu cu prinosul,
în lacrimā îi apārú Hristosul (Ioan Alexandru)

The blind man.
Stuck in the crowd,
suspected of grave sins, both he and his parents,
pushed into oblivion with the darkness at the edges of his being,
the light sent from the beginning had not yet reached him.
Rather than the darkness outside, the inner one is deeper.
HE resorts to dust, with the spittle from the divine mouth.
The creature must be reshaped through communion.
To reach him in the borders of unbelief, where sin holds him,
with the incarnation the Resurrected Logos sets out after him.

After he regains his sight,
to know it everywhere in its measure,
the persecutions from all sides began.
If it was a miracle in flesh and bones,
let them clear it, let them open it.
Let him diminish it, let him restrain it in the flesh,
lest the blind witness become.
Let the faith in his heart be troubled
which casts out his impotence with grace.

And as he walks through the temple with the offering,
Christ appears to him in tears (Ioan Alexandru)
