Creștinismul are sens numai dacă ...
Unul din criminalii pe cruce a spus: - Nu ești tu Mesia? Salvează-te pe tine și pe noi.
Celălalt criminal a răspuns: sentința pe care am primit-o corespunde crimelor noastre, dar acest om nu e criminal. Iisuse, pomenește-mă când vei veni în împărăție! (Luca 23:39)
Creștinismul spune oamenilor să se îndrepte și le promite iertarea.
El nu are de spus nimic celor care nu simt că au nevoie de iertare.
Numai după ce ai realizat că este o Lege Morală și o Putere în spatele acestei legi și că tu ai încălcat această lege și ești în contradicție cu acea putere - numai atunci și nu un moment mai devreme, creștinismul începe să aibă sens.
Creștinismul oferă o explicație:
-Cum am intrat în starea actuală;
-cum Dumnezeu poate fi mintea impersonală în spatele legii morale și totuși o Persoană;
- Cum Dumnezeu Însuși a devenit om pentru a salva omul de dezaprobarea lui Dumnezeu prin cruce (C.S.Lewis)

Christianity makes sens only...
One of the criminals hanging there said:
- Are you not the Messiah? Save yourself and us.
The other criminal said in replay:
- We have been condemned justily, for the sentence we received correspond to our crimes, but this man has done nothing criminal. Jesus, remember me when you come into ypur kingdom!  (Luke 23:39)

Christianity tells people to repent and promises them forgiveness.
It has nothing to say to people who do not know they have done anything to repent of, and who do not feel that they need any forgiveness.
It is after you have realized that there is a real MORAL LAW, and a POWER behind the law, and that you have broken that law and put yourself wrong with that POWER - it is after all this, and not a moment sooner, that CHRISTIANITY begin to talk.
Chriatianity offer an explanation of:
- how we got into our present state;
- how God can be the impersonal MIND at the back of the MORAL LAW and yet a PERSON;
- how God Himself becomes a man to save man from the disapproval of GOD on the Cross ( C.S.Lewis)
