Învierea.


Nu mai este moartea la putere.
Giulgiuri rāmase goale în mormînt.
Pāmîntul sfîsiat de înviere
E vindecat de celālalt pāmînt.

De-acuma vietuirea-i libertate
Frica de moarte-a dispārut
Strāvezi umilā vietate
Paradisul care te-a-ncāput.

E-atît de sigur cā nu mai este moarte
Cā voi pleca de-aici fārā sā mor
Mā-torc la tine mamā de departe
Cu fiul tāu la chip nemuritor.(Ioan Alexandru)

 

 

Resurrection.
Death is no longer in power.
Shrouds remained empty in the tomb.
The earth, torn by resurrection,
Is healed by the other earth.

 

From now on, living is freedom
The fear of death has disappeared
You, humble creature, see
The paradise that has contained you.

 

It is so certain that there is no more death
That I will leave here without dying.
