JESUS' TEMPTATIONS, MY TEMPTATIONS

40 DAYS

1. "Command these stones to become loaves of bread" (Matthew 4:3).

Pray: Jesus, You trusted God to provide your material needs. Help me to avoid placing my priorities on material things.

2. "Throw yourself down; for it is written... 'you will not dash your foot against a stone" (verse 6).

Pray: Jesus, You resisted using your power for vain and foolish reasons. Help me to resist doing foolish things only to impress others.

3. "All things I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me" (verse 9).

Pray : Jesus, You refused to cooperate with the devil to achive status and power. Help me to refuse to cooperate with evil and injustice in achieving my life's goals.
