VICTORS AND NOT VICTIMS.
1.In Spite of Distress ( Psalm 4:1). Make our lives difficult enough to bring out the heroic that is in them. We desire to be spiritual heroes instead of spiritual hoboes.
2. In Spite of Enemies (5:8) Your approval is our highest desire; Your favor is our supreme happiness; Your acceptance is our greatest reward.
3. In Spite of Suffering (6:2) You have not promised clear skies and smooth roads, but You have promised strength for the day and light for the way, and we thank You for it
4. In Spite of Misunderstandings (7:4-5) May Your peace, O God, that has been shed abroad in our hearts, pass all understanding and all misunderstanding.
5. In Spite of the Majesty of God (8:1) We desire to keep every avenue of our hearts open to a full infiltration of Your being, that we may glorify You in all our ways
6. In Spite of Wickedness (9:17) May we be true and loyal to the best that is within us, so we can live in harmony with the best You have planned for us.
7. In Spite of the Hiding of God (10:1) Give us the faith and strength that will keep us steady when our only assurance is that You know where we are
