THE PERILS OF DECEPTION.
1. Deception causes unreal things to seem real (Psalm 62:3) May we keep our imaginations friendly and helpful by paying whatever price is necessary to keep them pure an wholesome.
2. Deception causes a split personality (62:4) May we maintain a love for You that involves all our minds, and souls, and bodies, so we can avoid the hazards of split personalities.
3. Makes one empty (62:9) May we avoid the disaster of hearing You say:" You are weighted in the balance, and are found wanting"
4. Deception causes false values (62:10) May we be conscious of the fact that daily You direct people across our paths to receive something from us that will add beauty to their lives.
5. Deception assassinates influence (63:11) May our words say it like it is, say it decisevely, and say it in transparent honesty.
6. Has low visibility (64:5, 7) We are greatful that You are looking after us continually. May we live in such a way that we can be the apple of Your eye.
7. Deception causes words that hurt the sender and the receiver (64:8) May we remember that whatever we say that is helpful to another is helpfut to us, and whatever is hurtful to another is hurtful to us.
