AN ADDICT FOR THE LORD.
1. Sign No.1 (Psalm 84:2). May we have a longing and a craving for spiritual things, until we are spoiled for anything less than Your will and Your best.
2. Sign No. 2 (84:2). Our only craving is to give You top priority, so we can love You first, foremost, and fervently.
3. An addict for the Lord has a homing instinct for Him ( 84:3-4). May we keep our lives so sinsitized to You that we dot the landscape of everyday life with high peaks of inspiration by letting our homing instinct bring us into Your pressence often.
4. Is anxious to improve (84:7). We are glad that our addiction for You makes us better and better; any other addiction makes us worse and worse.
5. Has an obsession to serve (84:10). May we live in such a self-forgetful way that all our thoughts and words and doings will be for Your and others.
6. Is well -protected (84:11).
7. An addict for the Lord will be equipped for service (84:11). Since You have promised to furnish the grace and glory, we pledge to furnish the obedience to make us partners in this business of living.
