THE GOOD NEWS: AN ANGEL PROMISES THE BIRTH OF JESUS TO MARY

1. The ancient promise of Savior:" And I will put enmity between you ( snake) and the women, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel" (Genesis 3,14)

2. Because God's judgement is coming, we need a Savior. No man or nation can be saved without God's help. Christ's perfect sacrifice for out sins is foretold and portrayed by prophet Isaiah, in 740 BC: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel" (Isaiah 7,14)

3. The ancient promise is fulfilled : "Do not be affraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus" ( Luke 1,30)
