Duminică 25 februarie. Fariseul și vameșul (Luca 18:9).

Codul fariseilor.
- Codul: Vei merge doar atât de departe în Sabat.
Iisus: Poți să mergi cât vrei.
- Codul: Aceste lucruri le puteți mânca, iar acestea nu le veți mânca.
Iisus: Nu ești spurcat de ceea ce intră în gura ta, ci de ceea ce iese.
- Codul : Toate rugăciunile trebuie depuse conform formularelor furnizate. Altfel nu sunt acceptabile .
Iisus: Dumnezeu este spirit. Între Marele Spirit și spiritul oamenilor nimeni nu are dreptul să intervină cu formule și reguli.
Vameşul: „Doamne, fii milostiv mine, păcătosul!”

The Code of the Pharisees.
- The Code : You shall walk only so far on the Sabbath.
Jesus : You may walk as far as you like.
- The Code : These things you may eat, and these you shall not.
Jesus : You're not defiled by what goes into your mouth, but by what comes out.
- The Code : All prayers must be submited according to the forms provided. None others are acceptable.
Jesus : God is a spirit. Between the Great Spirit and the spirit of men no one has the right to intervene with formulae and rules.
The Tax Collector : "O God, be merciful to me a sinner!"
