THE EARLY CREED.

1 Corinthians 15:3-11 is an early creed written in the Scriptures. It expresses the fundamental aspects of the Christian faith and faith statements such as the following:

- Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures (Isaiah 53);

- Christ was buried.

- Christ rose on the third day.
