22 oct. 2025, Istanbul, Turcia. Acum șaptesprezece secole, 20 mai 335, episcopi din toate colțurile lumii s-au adunat în orașul Niceea (Iznik, Turcia) pentru Primul Sinod de la Niceea. Acești lideri timpurii s-au unit pentru a aborda negările divinității lui Iisus Hristos.
Dintr-o convingere scripturală că Iisus este Dumnezeu, acest conciliu a redactat Crezul de la Niceea, care reprezintă cea mai larg mărturisită și maiestuoasă expresie a credinței creștine, stând la baza esenței evangheliei pe care o mărturisim.
Scopul acestei conferințe este de a comemora moștenirea Bisericii, de a ne aminti de adevărul proclamat de-a lungul veacurilor și de a ne îndemna să proclamăm și să protejăm evanghelia Domnului nostru Iisus Hristos.

Seventeen centuries ago, on 20 Mai 325, bishops from every corner of the world gathered in the city of Nicea (Iznik, Türkiye) for the First Council of Nicea. These early leaders united to address denials concerning the divinity of Jesus Christ.
Out of a scriptural conviction that Jesus is God, this council penned the Nicene Creed, which stands as the most widely confessed and majestic expression of the Christian faith, underpinning the essence of the gospel we confess.
The aim of this conference is to commemorate the heritage of the church, to remind us of the truth proclaimed through the ages, and to exhort us to proclaim and protect the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
