SOLOMON BECOMES ISRAEL’S KING ( 970 BC).

When David died, his son Solomon became king. God was pleased that Solomon asked for wisdom, instead of riches, or honor, or victory over his enemies, or a long life; so He granted his request, and Solomon became famous for his great wisdom.

One day two women came to him and each swore that a certain baby was hers. Solomon told one soldier to cut it in two and give each woman half.  The woman who was not the mother said “Yes”. Solomon knew who the real mother was…
