THE IMPERIAL KINGSHIP OF OUR LORD.

1.  His kingship is over the universe (Psalm 146: 5-6).  May we keep a keen sense of Your awesomeness, so we will have implicit trust in Your intelligence, integrity, and immutability.

2. His kingship over physical handicaps (146:8).  With You as our heavenly Friend, we believe You will take care of our physical needs now. We expect a miracle from You this moment.

3.  His kingship over moral problems (146:8). When You come to our lives You find a cross and a throne. May we unreservedly place self on the cross, so that You can occupy the throne. 

4.  His kingship over eternity (146:10).  It will be worth everything when we see Your face; all sorrows will be erased and eclipsed in the glory of that revelation.

5.  His kingship over the hurts of the heart (147:3).  Today let the hurts that may have been harbored in broken hearts healed. May Your balm bring the cure deep inside, in the area of greatest need.

6. His kingship over wisdom (147:4-5).  Help us to think Your thoughts, meditate on Your truth, and refect on Your Word, so our minds will be used at maximum capacity.

7.  His kingship over the laws of nature (147:8,18).  You are so big and we are so small, we cannot comprehend Your personal interest in each of us, but the reality of it is ours to enjoy.
