THE SOUNDS OF WORSHIP.

1. The sounds of wordhip will have the sound of victory (Psalm 98:1).  You provide light for understanding and power for mastery; we want nothing more, or nothing less, or nothing  else but Your plan for us.

2. The sound of testimony (98:3).  May we keep such an up-to-date relationship with You what we will have a testimony ready at any moment; may we always keep a place for testimonies in our worship.

3. The sound of music (98:4-5).  May we use melodic and rhapsodic sounds for one purpose only, to praise, to glorify, and worship You.

4.  The sound of judgement (98:9).  May we maintain sensitive consciences, and obedient wills, and tender hearts to the checks and correctives of the Spirit.

5. The sound of holiness (99:3). "Oh, to be like You, blessed Redeemer, pure as You are! Come in Your sweetness, come in Your fullness; stamp Your own image deep on my heart".

6. The sound of exaltation (99:5).  May we continually recognize You as the One who is above all and yet in us all, as the One who is absolutely supreme and yet interested in each of us.

7. The sound of obedience (99:7).  Your will is ours; into Your hand of love we resign everything; through sorrow or joy, conduct us as Your own.
