16th Jan - the Peter's chains.

 

PETER'S MIRACULOUS ESCAPE FROM PRISON ( Acts 12, 7).

Peter was kept in a prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.  'Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter in the side and woke him up. "Quick, get up!" he said, and the chains fell of Peter's wrists'. The earnest prayer of the church significantly affected the outcome of those events. Prayer changes things and can break chains, so pray often and with confidence !

"He breaks down doors of bronze and smashes iron bars" (Psalm 107,16)
