36After had lived and served in the Temple for 11 years, the holy Virgin, now fourteen years old, was informed by the priests that, according to the Law, she could not longer remain in the Temple but must marry. The most holy Virgin replied that she has dedicated herself to God and wished to remain a maiden.

Zacharias, the high priest and father of the Forerunner, in consultation with the other priests, chose 12 old men from the tribe of David so that they might entrust Marry to  one of them to preserve her virginity and care for her. In the house of Joseph, an old man from Nazareth, Marry continued to live in the same manner as in the Temple, reading the sacred Scriptures, praying, fasting and working with her hands; she was intimate only with the two daughters of Joseph.

One day the  angel Gabriel  appeared to Mary: " Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women". "The Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will conceive in your womb and shall bring forth a Son; and you  shall call His name Jesus". "I am the Lord's servant", Mary answered. (Luke 1 ,38).

With the angelic greeting and the descent of the Holy Spirit, the salvation of mankind and the renewal of creation were set in motion.
